 Terra is an amateur Figure Competitor and Personal Trainer at Fitness Layne.
Terra recently competed in the Mike Francois Amateur Figure Competition in Columbus and placed 3rd in the Masters and the Open.
Terra competed in the Northern Kentucky Amateur Figure Competition in March and placed 1st in height class B and 2nd overall.
I started working out with Chastity Slone at Fitness Layne May 2004. I still remember how I felt the first time I met her. I was frustrated, depressed, embarrassed and more tired than I had ever been in my life.  What made it so hard to seek help is that I myself was a personal trainer, physical therapist assistant, aerobics instructor and competitive runner. I was about 6 months post delivery from my second child. I had zero energy, little patience and 2 children and a husband who needed from me what I simply did not have to give. The last five years of my life were very difficult having moved to a new city away from friends and family and I had also experienced some painful family losses. In that time my spirit had really become broken down.
The best thing I did for myself was walking in to Fitness Layne and asking for help. Over the next few weeks we worked out and Chastity helped me to realize through journaling that I wasn't eating enough food for my body to work. I was just too busy and too tired to notice. Once aware of this, I was eating more and making healthier choices. I was feeling more energetic again, sleeping better and was less irritable. I now had more than enough energy for my family and friends. I was even recharged and ready to do what I love again - helping people through personal training.
